The HS code is the most precise filter you have. Every customs shipment is classified by HS code, so searching by code — rather than a loose keyword — returns the companies importing exactly your product.
- Confirm your product's HS code (6-digit is usually enough; 8-digit narrows further).
- Search a customs-data buyer tool by that code, filtered to a destination country.
- You get importing companies, their shipment activity under that code, and a procurement contact for each.
Chapter-level codes (2-digit) cast a wide net; full codes isolate direct competitors' buyers. Search a few related codes if your product spans more than one.
