HS codes
Footwear exports fall under HS chapter 64. Classify precisely — the first six digits are international, the rest are India's ITC-HS extension. Your HS code drives duty, FTA eligibility and the paperwork the buyer's customs will expect.
Export requirements & certifications
- RCMC from CLE or the footwear EPC.
- REACH / chromium (VI) compliance; EN ISO safety standards for safety footwear.
- CE marking for PPE-class safety footwear sold in the EU/UK.
