HS codes
Jewellery exports fall under HS 7113, 7116, 7117. Classify precisely — the first six digits are international, the rest are India's ITC-HS extension. Your HS code drives duty, FTA eligibility and the paperwork the buyer's customs will expect.
Export requirements & certifications
- RCMC from GJEPC; registration with a notified export zone/SEZ for duty-free gold procurement.
- Hallmarking / assay to the destination standard; nickel-release (EU) limits for costume jewellery.
- Kimberley Process certificate for anything with diamonds.
- Secure logistics (Brinks/Malca-Amit) and full insurance.

Documentation
